Women United Global Leadership Council Announces New Members

Five new members appointed to serve on the United Way Worldwide advisory body

ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA (July 1, 2025) — United Way Worldwide announced today the appointment of five new members to the Women United Global Leadership Council (WUGLC), an advisory body dedicated to advancing opportunities for individuals and families in nearly 200 communities across the globe, and open to all people who share in the mission of Women United®.

The new members, who will serve an initial three-year term, include:  

• Pamela Beall-Hill, United Way of the Midlands
• Ashley Bell Barnett, United Way of Central Florida
• Michelle Delery, United Way of Southeast Louisiana
• Siobhan Harman, United Way of Central Iowa
• Pamela Montana, Arrowhead United Way

WUGLC represents members working with United Way in communities worldwide. The new members underwent a rigorous nominations process and were selected by the Council for their experience, commitment to Women United, and proven investment in United Way’s mission.

The Council serves as an advisory body providing strategic recommendations to United Way Worldwide as well as a key mobilizer that engages leaders to support opportunities that help to strengthen families, such as access to quality, affordable, and educational childcare. The group, representing over 50,000 members, also supports the growth of Women United globally.

WUGLC members fuel impact work in their communities through their United Ways, including donating, volunteering and advocating for efforts to strengthen community resilience and advance health, youth opportunity, and financial security so all can thrive.
