Open RFP Opportunities

United Way Worldwide (UWW) is currently seeking proposals for goods or services listed below.  This Request for Proposal (RFP) portal is open for all qualified entities to review and inquire.  The listings include titles, brief summaries, and contact information for requesting full RFPs.  The purpose of the listing is to openly publicize certain opportunities to interested and qualified groups.  

Please note that in some cases where there is confidential information included in an RFP, UWW will require a Nondisclosure Agreement to be signed prior to releasing the RFP.  We reserve the right to decline any request of an RFP for which we are unable to reasonably verify information provided by the requester. 

 

  • United Way Worldwide is soliciting proposals for internal audit services. It is envisioned that the third-party Internal Audit function will complete approximately 2-4 audit projects annually, which we anticipate would require between 500 and 2,000 hours of work.

    Main objectives of this engagement are to:

    • Perform an initial risk assessment, an annual review, and an update of the risk assessment and internal audit plan
    • Conduct internal audits of areas identified in the approved internal audit plan to evaluate the effectiveness of the UWW’s internal controls, considering risk, control weaknesses, size, and complexity of operations
    • Prepare reports that present key findings/recommendations
    • Present key results of audits and risk assessments to management

     

    Areas that may be addressed include, but are not limited to:

    • Grant reporting, processes, and controls
    • Controllership functions, including cash management, procurement and disbursements, revenue controls, and financial reporting
    • International operations
    • Internal and external reporting
