United Way for Southeastern Michigan works to ensure communities are better prepared for emergencies now and are stronger when disaster strikes in the future. As part of our work this year, we are hosting a series of educational workshops and building and distributing over 3,000 disaster preparedness kits.
Working together with partner organizations and United Way programs like 211, our Community Fulfillment Center and more, we aim to reduce the long-term impacts of disaster, shorten recovery timelines, build resilience and save lives.
