United Way Suncoast’s takes a leadership role in its disaster resilience work, seeking to mobilize efforts among municipalities in organizations active in disaster. It builds relationships that fuel impactful and effective strategies and creates lasting community improvements.
In the summer of 2026, United Way Suncoast is staging a series of workshops to help businesses and nonprofits better plan for disaster. It also has partnered with local agencies to distribute 6,000 disaster preparedness kits for those in need.
