Coming Together To Be Prepared

More than 6,000 households across the Suncoast region will be better prepared for disasters thanks to a partnership between Verizon, United Way Suncoast, Feeding Tampa Bay, and All Faiths Food Bank.

Volunteers came together in Tampa and Sarasota to assemble 6,000 Disaster Preparation Kits filled with essential supplies, including first aid kits, flashlights, emergency preparedness information, waterproof document bags, power banks, and more.

These kits will help families prepare for, respond to, and recover from storms and other emergencies—strengthening community resilience before disaster strikes.
