United Way of Massachusetts Bay is strengthening family and childcare resilience through a comprehensive set of extreme heat preparedness initiatives.
In summer 2026, in partnership with the City of Boston, we will deliver four workshops for families in multifamily housing, offering expert guidance, planning support, climate impact education, and heat emergency kits. Additional kits will be distributed at community outreach events.
Four more workshops will equip home-based childcare educators with preparedness training, digital readiness tools, business continuity resources, and children’s materials.
