Last Mile Delivery
Transportation is vital for accessing essential services. United Way's Ride United program ensures equitable access through innovative solutions.

Ride United leverages the strength of United Ways, the 211 network, and our partners to address the unmet transportation needs of individuals and families across the country. Last Mile Delivery focuses on getting food and essential items to those in need. Our partnership with DoorDash enables us to collaborate with food pantries, grocery stores, restaurants, and schools, and secure the delivery of the items to homes.
Fighting Hunger Takes All of Us
United Way Worldwide has partnered with DoorDash as a part of its Project DASH initiative, which recently celebrated the milestone of 100 million meals delivered to individuals and families in need – with more than 20 million of those meals delivered through our Ride United Last Mile Delivery program.
