Richard Perreault

Rick Perreault serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at United Way Worldwide, leading the organization’s technology strategy and operations. He is responsible for advancing innovative, secure, and scalable technology capabilities that support United Way’s global mission and drive organizational performance.

With more than 30 years of technology and business leadership experience, Rick has successfully guided enterprise transformation, modernization, cybersecurity, data analytics, and operational resilience initiatives across nonprofit and financial services organizations. 

Before joining United Way Worldwide, he served as Chief Information Officer for the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC), where he led enterprise technology modernization efforts and introduced enterprise data analytics and artificial intelligence programs.

Prior to CFC, Rick held senior technology and business leadership roles at Bank of America and Fannie Mae, including helping lead Fannie Mae’s technology response to the 2008 housing crisis. 

Throughout his career, he has focused on leveraging technology through a people-centered approach to strengthen organizational capabilities, improve business outcomes, and enable long-term growth.

Rick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University.
