Lanhee Yung

Founding Partner Sagehall

Lanhee Yung is a Founding Partner of Sagehall, a privately owned real estate private equity firm.  As a Founding Partner, Ms. Yung, co-heads the Investment Committee and leads operations and investor relations at the Firm. She was previously Global Head and Managing Director in Starwood Capital Group’s Fundraising and Investor Relations Group for over a decade. In this role, she was responsible for raising capital globally on behalf of the Firm’s private investment funds and co-investments in real estate and energy infrastructure. She was a member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Starwood, Lanhee was Head of Investor Relations & Fundraising for the CIM Group. She also worked at UBS Investment Bank and began her career at Merrill Lynch in the firm’s Investment Bank. She completed her third term on the Board of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE) and is Founder of Young AFIRE. Lanhee is also the Founder of the Women’s Tea at PREA and on the Global Board of Women in Real Estate. In 2018, she was recognized by PERE Magazine as one of the Thirty Rainmakers in Capital Raising and in 2021, she was named as a Woman of Influence in Private Markets.

Lanhee received her B.S. from Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration, where she serves on the College of Business Leadership Council and she earned her M.B.A. from ESSEC/Cornell University. She also serves as a trustee and on the executive committee of the Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences.
