Brian Parsons
At-Large Member, Worldwide Board of Trustees
Chief Operating Officer of CTDI
From an early childhood, Brian Parsons was instilled with not only an entrepreneurial spirit, but also a commitment to service. His grandfather and father founded their company, CTDI in their home garage, and Brian is proud to be a part of the third generation of family leading the business today. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and will transition by the end of 2025 to President & CEO of CTDI, a global engineering, repair, and logistics business serving the communications industry. Since joining CTDI in 2001, Brian has driven transformative growth, launching new businesses and leading acquisitions that expanded CTDI's presence globally. Today CTDI employs over 20,000 people across 25 countries and focuses on serving the leading communications brands with leading technical solutions in support of their global supply chains. Brian is deeply engaged in his company's family focused values and philanthropic mission. Beyond his business acumen, Brian has championed initiatives like CTDI CARES, a 501(c)(3) program providing critical financial support to employees and their families in need.
Brian's commitment to service extends far beyond the corporate walls. Since 2007, he has been a key supporter of Chester County United Way, serving on its Community Impact Team, heading the Strategic Initiatives, Finance and Resource Development committees, being a member of the Board of Directors, and most recently as Board Chair from 2022 to 2024. Throughout his career, Brian has been instrumental in guiding organizations to balance purpose and impact. Brian is a proud alum of the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) where he graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He continued on to obtain an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and has furthered his education with certifications in Finance and Accounting (Wharton), Risk Management (Harvard), Human Resources (Cornell), and Mergers & Acquisitions (Columbia).
Brian resides in Chester County Pennsylvania with his wife Brigid, and their two children. Whether driving change at work, leading community efforts, or spending time with his family, Brian leads with heart, fostering a legacy of courage, compassion and commitment that reflects the very mission of United Way.
