CommonSpirit Health and United Way work together to connect people to services and improve health outcomes across the country. In that spirit, CommonSpirit Health -- which includes 700 care sites and 137 hospitals across 21 states -- has generously donated $100,000 to support United Way and 211’s national response to COVID-19, and specifically to support local 211s in Washington and California.

Officially launched in March 2019, CommonSpirit Health and United Way’s partnership is a first-of-its-kind effort between one of the largest health systems in the U.S. and the world's largest privately-funded nonprofit.

The partnership has initiated a series of projects designed to enhance health while also reducing the overall cost of care. As part of this on-going effort, CommonSpirit Health and United Way will address the social determinants of health by connecting people to the resources they need to be well.
