A century later, there’s still more work to be done to achieve gender equity and ensure the movement reflects the diversity and intersectionality of all women. United Way’s Women United for Gender Equity campaign will inspire caring citizens to fight for gender equity, now more than ever.

Share Your Story

United Way is launching a Share Your Story campaign to collect powerful stories from women about the challenges and barriers they are facing in the wake of COVID-19. These stories will be spotlighted in a livestreamed event on September 17 and shared across United Way social channels.

On September 17, United Way will host a livestream event, “A Century After Women’s Suffrage: Our Fight for Equity Continues.” This event will feature a robust conversation with women leaders and advocates about how to continue the fight for equity and empowerment.
