Artyn Gardner

Member Women United Global Leadership Council

After raising four daughters, Mrs. Gardner founded College Sports Advocates, an independent consulting firm for college bound high school athletes. She is currently President of the Board of Human Options, an agency that supports battered women and their families. She is immediate past chair of the Orange County United Way’s Women’s Philanthropy Fund, has chaired the WPF Annual Breakfast and also co-chaired the United Way National Women’s Summit held in Orange County in 2011. Mrs. Gardner has served her alma mater, Duke in many capacities including chairing the San Francisco Bay Area Alumni Admissions Advisory Council.  She has been a member of the Duke Alumni Board and the Financial Aid Initiative Committee. She currently sits on the DukeEngage Advisory Board and the Board of Every Monday Matters. She is a member of the Menlo School Alumni Parent Board. Mrs. Gardner is a winner of the 2011 Charles A. Dukes Award. She and her husband Max are the recipients of the 2010 Quiet Achiever Award.  They currently reside in Irvine, CA.
