Community Chest of Korea (CCK), United Way's largest network partner outside of North America, published Samsung Sharing and Dream Impact Report for United Way network. This report was issued under United Way Asia Pacific Learning Center that CCK and UWW have co-hosted since 2010.
As a leading global company with its global mission of Enabling People, Samsung has contributed $45.4M/year to the CCK annual campaign, which is the largest gift in the Republic of Korea. Since 2016, Samsung and CCK have co-hosted the special innovation challenge called the Samsung Sharing and Dream, with a fund of $9M/year (10,000,000,000 KRW). It aimed to motivate community partners to design and test innovative solutions to social issues. This impact report shares highlights of the program's 3-year journey and lessons learned.
