Together We Thrive - NYDJ Partners With United Way to Give Back to Local Communities During Covid-19

(Los Angeles, CA) March 24, 2020 – At NYDJ, our first priority as a company is the well-being of our customers, team members and communities. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We believe that together we thrive, and as a company we want to do anything we can do to bring relief and support to those families and people in need on a very local level.

NYDJ is proud to announce that starting today, to provide COVID-19 assistance to communities, we’ve come together with non-profit and our long-time partner, United Way, to donate 10% of all NYDJ.com proceeds to their newly formed United Way Worldwide COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund.

During this time of uncertainty, NYDJ is happy to be working with United Way to help ensure support to communities around the globe. Through our partnership, our customers are shopping and wanting to positively impact those that are affected by this crisis.

“United Way is working around the clock to support our communities during this time of uncertainty in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Suzanne McCormick, U.S. President of United Way Worldwide. “We are grateful for partnerships such as this one with NYDJ that will enable us to continue to provide vital services to communities everywhere, as needs are changing daily. ”

NYDJ is honored to work with United Way Worldwide COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund, which is helping families and communities who are struggling in the wake of this crisis, through local United Ways and the 211 network, the go-to information resource in times of crisis. Together, we will overcome this pandemic by making sure the most vulnerable among us are protected. We appreciate our customer’s ongoing loyalty and support through these times and by helping support this partnership and relief initiative through shopping for good.

About NYDJ
NYDJ jeans are made by women, for women—all shapes, all sizes, all women. Back in 2003, comfortable and flattering jeans for every woman simply did not exist. Most jeans had low waists and fit uncomfortably, and if they did fit well, they were just not stylish. Originally founded as “Not Your Daughter’s Jeans,” we set out to design jeans that fit in all the right places and make every woman feel comfortable and confident—like her best self.
