When she was 6 years old, Angela Williams moved out of Anderson.

She never forgot the lessons she picked up here from her father, including how to stand up to bullies, work hard, help others and support civil engagement.

Those are some of the lessons Williams is bringing as the new CEO of United Way Worldwide, one of the largest charitable groups in the US.
