Never Say Never

Never Say Never

Never Say Never is a good mantra for winning on the field of play. It’s even better when that perseverance and determination results in more successful kids. GMC, the official vehicle of the National Football League, is teaming up with United Way to help drive down the dropout rate.

Each week, GMC will present three “Never Say Never Moments” at www.nfl.com/gmc. Fans will be asked to vote on the moment that best represents determination and perseverance. Even better, the community tied to the winning moment will receive an eMentoring program for one full school year offering fans tangible and effective ways to get involved in improving education in America. In addition to voting, fans can enter for a chance to win a weekly prize of a trip for two to Super Bowl XLVII.

The In2Books eMentoring program connects 3rd to 6th grade students across the U.S. with caring adult “eMentors.” Over the course of the school year, volunteer eMentors read five student-selected books and discuss the texts with their student mentees via guided online letters. The adult-student pen pal relationship provides essential support for the development of student’s reading, writing and critical thinking skills.

So go to www.nfl.com/gmc and vote now and every week of the football season. Do it for your team, your community and yourself!
