Medtronic & Lilly support United Way through Back to Football Friday

The National Football League (NFL) is planning a first-of-its-kind, nationwide campaign to engage fans with the launch of the 2010 football season. They've chosen United Way as their online and workplace partner in "Back to Football Friday," which encourages and incents fans to wear NFL apparel (or team colors) to work and school on September 10, the day after the 2010 football season begins. In addition to generating excitement for the return of football, the campaign will promote the NFL and United Way's youth health and wellness work.

Companies such as Eli Lilly and Company and Medtronic, Inc. are participating in Back to Football Friday with employees in locations across the country donning their NFL gear on September 10. As part of their football-themed United Way campaign, some Medtronic locations are even hosting tailgate parties. Learn more about Back to Football Friday.
