Setting up Direct Deposit

  1. Request a Payroll Direct Deposit Form from your employer.
  2. You will need to get your checking account number and the bank's routing number. These numbers are typically found at the bottom left of your checks.
  3. After you submit the completed form to your employer, monitor it for a couple of months to make sure that your paycheck is being automatically deposited to your checking account.

You can also transfer part of your paycheck to savings each month.  You can set this up with your bank or credit union.
