On Saturday June 21st the Annual United Chari Games were held in Moscow for the fourth time. They were organized by the United Way of Russia team led by CEO and President Tatiana Zadirako. The colourful and optimistic event took place in Sokolniki Park – one of the oldest and most popular parks of the Russian capital.
17 corporate teams from 12 Russian-based and international companies took part in the competitions. They ran two distances – 2,5 and 5 km. A special competition was organized for children.
United Chari Games-2014 broke an unprecedented record in the history of the Moscow Chari Games – total amount of money raised during the event and in the course of preparations preceded USD 40 000. All funds raised will go for summer camp vouchers for children who suffer from burns, as well as to improve the quality of life of elderly people - veterans of Russian theater and cinematography.
