Millions are unemployed. Families are facing eviction. Children are falling further behind in school. And while the virus has left no one untouched, people of color are bearing the brunt of the effects of COVID-19 and the resulting economic crisis.
As we look to this first year of the 117th Congress our focus at United Way is on responding, recovering, re-imagining and rebuilding systems that help communities rebound and address the inequities in access to healthcare, education and economic opportunities.
