Medical Device Transformation Leader Johnson and Johnson North America
Sue Wetzel is an experienced professional who has been with Johnson and Johnson for 19 years, United Way for four years and AT&T for 12 years.
She is currently the J&J North America, Medical Device Transformation Leader responsible for the oversight and coordination of initiatives that are directly aligned to the transformation of the customer facing elements of the J&J Medical Device Supply Chain. These projects account for $46 million in long term savings. As President of United Way of Somerset County, Sue managed $5.8 million in annual fund raising, supervised an operating budget of $1 million, 28 colleagues and 200 volunteers. At United Way of America, Sue served as Vice President/Team Leader responsible for business development related to the National Pledge Processing system, "eWay," including integrated business operations and change management.
As a volunteer for the past 30 years, Sue has extensive Board experience most recently as Chairman of the Board, United Way of Northern New Jersey (UWNNJ) for three years, Chairman of the UWNNJ Board Development Committee for three years, Vice Chair of the United Way of Northern New Jersey Design Team, Chairperson of the UWNNJ Women's Leadership Council, Vice Chair and member of the Board of Directors for The Center for Great Expectations.
Sue holds an M.S. Organizational Dynamics from University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. Business Administration / Industrial Relations, Seton Hall University.
