Larry Macdonald is a retired senior executive from the energy sector in Canada. He currently is Lead Director of Vermilion Energy which has global oil and gas assets and an advisor to the Corporate Protection Group (CPG) Toronto, Ontario. CPG serves the insurance industry in North America.
He is also a lifetime volunteer. He has volunteered with his children’s sports organizations, the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, as Chairman of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, as Chairman of the Calgary United Way Campaign, as Chairman of the United Way of Calgary Board, the United Way/Centraide Board in Ottawa and United Way International in Virginia. He currently chairs United Way Gives Across Borders and sits on the United Way WorldWide Leadership Council. Larry and Gloria have 3 children and 7 very special grandchildren and reside near Okotoks, Alberta, Canada.
