From creating leadership programs for underserved girls in Southwest Texas to executing a major rebrand for a global non-profit, Kassaundra has dedicated her career to developing strategies to drive measurable social change and expand opportunity.
Kassaundra currently serves as Director of Women's Engagement at United Way Worldwide. In this role, she develops and executes the global segment marketing strategies for United Way Worldwide’s women’s engagement portfolio. United Way women leaders have raised more than 1.5 billion dollars in the last 15 years and $188 million in 2016. Additionally, she spearheaded and led the global rebrand of United Way’s women's affinity groups to Women United®, managing the development of brand guidelines, messaging, website, video, marketing collateral and consumer research.
As a tireless champion for diversity and inclusion, Kassaundra serves on United Way Worldwide’s Inclusion Council and is dedicated to embracing different perspectives and creating a globally inclusive culture.
Prior to joining United Way Worldwide, Kassaundra worked for Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas, where she developed and implemented the Gamma Sigma Girls™ program, a unique leadership development initiative developed for 6-12th grade girls focusing on college-readiness, advocacy and community service.
Kassaundra earned a B.A. in Public Health & Visual Arts from Rice University in Houston, Texas.
