Jackie Gordon

INTERIM EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER

Before joining United Way Worldwide as Interim Chief People and Culture Officer, Jackie Gordon served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer for Y-USA. She had been a part of the Y organization since 2001. Before she joined the YMCA, Gordon was the Vice President of Human Resources for retail companies including The Home Depot Stores, HEB Grocery Co., and Builders Square Stores (Kmart Corp). Gordon is a graduate of University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in English and speech. Gordon is a lifetime certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). 

Gordon is a member of SHRM and Chicago SHRM where she served on the Board of Directors of Chicago SHRM, leading the Diversity Committee. After leaving the Y-USA, Gordon created her own consulting practice, JEGordon HR Services, LLC. As a consultant, she has worked as an Interim Chief People Officer for several nonprofits, resolving human resources issues as well as transitioning their work with new leadership.
