Amy Dinofrio is United Way Worldwide’s Vice President of People Strategies, Talent & Board Engagement . She oversees internal human resources and leads efforts to support more than 1,800 local United Ways in building organizational capacity, recruiting and retention and designing customized professional leadership development programs for board members and staff.
Ms. Dinofrio brings more than17 years of human resources and talent management experience to this role. Before joining United Way Worldwide in 2017, she led human resources, operations and 2-1-1 at Pikes Peak United Way in Colorado for 13 years. Since joining the team at United Way Worldwide, she has advanced professionally from manager to director and then to her current role as Vice President.
Ms. Dinofrio earned her bachelor’s degree from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Notre Dame. She has served on numerous nonprofit boards. She and her partner, Camryn, live in Alexandria, Virginia with their three dogs.
