Wonderful world of languages and the international realm

My story is about 2 teachers that changed my life forever. My high school French teacher started my journey into the world of foreign languages. When my parents decided that I was to finish high school in the United States, I went to Thomas Carr Howe high school. Mrs. Jody Hancock (now George) was the most fascinating teacher that had. I taken French briefly (in elementary during my first visit and my class was taught by my current boss) and when I arrived at Howe and went to Mrs. Hancock's class, it was like magic. Her class was very engaging. She introduced us to Sartre and other masters in French literature. We made Fondue, chicken marengo. When we were in her class, we wanted to learn more about the French world. It was never a dull moment, always moving, always learning, always speaking! Then there was Mr. Finkbiner (not sure if that's the way it's spelled--he is deceased now) :-( He was our window to the international world with his International Relations class. He knew everything--at least we thought so! He also created an annual field trip for that class. Our class was the first to go to Montreal. It was a blast! That was the beginning of my world travels. Today, I have a degree in French/Spanish and a minor in International Relations. Qué bueno! Fantastique! How awesome!
