To Kill a Mockingbird
My junior year of high school I was introduced to the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. My English teacher, Mrs. Crooks, was so enthusiastic about the story that it was infectious. She described scenes in the book as she visualized them and we had numerous wonderful discussions about the story. To this day, it is my all-time favorite book and I have her to thank for introducing me to it.
