My Band Director
My band director, Mr. Panetta, has only been at our very small school for 2 years. However, he has helped not only me but our whole music program blossom into something it has never been before. He has taught me and others to be themselves and be proud of what we do at all times. When we do this people will learn to respect us. Because of his hard work and love for us our band has grown from an 18 member marching band that was made fun of multiple times, to a 56 member group that has earned the respect of parents, cheerleaders, teachers, and even the football team. He has really changed my life and taught me what music alone can do.
