Above and Beyond
There is a teacher who is currently changing the life of my son, an autistic 6th grader. The jump from elementary school to middle school was tough for him but, Corey Clark, his health and PE teacher at Brownsburg East Middle School has gone above and beyond to help him be successful. She has researched with special ed faculty and me about what methods work for Brian to gear her class to support and encourage him to do more athletically than he thought possible. Her love and determination to see Brian not only succeed, but be accepted by his peers has changed his life and by extension, mine too. She has shared her successes with Brian's other teachers too, so theyunderstand him a little better. We are so thankful for all she has done and continues to do out of love for Brian.
