Day of Action Social Media
This year's United Way Day of Action is unique because it occurs during the 125th Anniversary of the United Way movement. On June 21st, volunteers across the globe will post pictures, videos and messages to commemorate this milestone from their project sites to Twitter @UnitedWay and hashtag #LIVEUNITED.

The Big Tweet - Join us on June 21st for The Big Tweet, a coordinated Twitter event on the United Way Day of Action for you to express how you LIVE UNITED in your community. It's simple, all you have to do is tweet a brief sentence starting with "I" and end your tweet with the hashtag and #LIVEUNITED.
It will look like this:
- I read with Mrs. Robinson's class every Tuesday afternoon and I LOVE IT! #iamthechange #LIVEUNITED
- I'm a mentor with @UnitedWay, and I get as much out of it as the student I work with. #iamthechange #LIVEUNITED
- I register people to vote and advocate for the issues that matter in my community. #iamthechange #LIVEUNITED
