#FirstGen: Helping First-Generation College Students Succeed

On August 6, United Way co-hosted a Twitter Chat on innovative policies and practices that can improve first generation college success. The goal of the Twitter Chat was to identify challenges that first generation students encounter on the road to and through college and to highlight effective practices for supporting students to succeed in their postsecondary aspirations.
