Sunil Wadhwani is Chairman and Co-Founder of iGATE Corporation (formerly Mastech). iGATE is a global business with over 7,000 employees that service over 300 major clients on five continents. iGATE provides a broad range of Information Technology services including the implementation and support of custom and packaged software applications and business process services.
iGATE is a public company listed on the NASDAQ exchange in the US. iGATE has operations in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, India, Australia, Maylasia and Japan.
Under Sunil's leadership as CEO, Mastech was listed four times in Inc. Magazine's ranking as the fastest-growing companies in the United States. Mastech was also named among the "Top 100 Hot Growth" companies by Business Week and among the "Technology Fast 50" by Deloitte and Touche.
Sunil has received numerous awards including "Entrepreneur of the Year" from Ernst and Young, Pittsburgh "Man of the Year" from Vectors, and awards from organizations including Association of Indians in America, Carnegie-Mellon University and the India Institute of Technology.
He has written articles for a variety of publications including Datamation, Systems Integrator and Reader's Digest, and has been quoted in publications such as Business Week, the Wall Street Journal, Information Week and Investors Business Daily.
Sunil serves on the Boards of Trustees of Carnegie-Mellon University, the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, UPMC Health System and the Federal Reserve Bank (Pittsburgh).
Mr. Wadhwani earned a Master's degree in Management from Carnegie-Mellon University, and a Bachelor's degree in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology.
