Executive Vice President, Director of Social Responsibility Group

Jon Campbell manages Wells Fargo’s Social Responsibility Group. This group, which includes philanthropy, community development, volunteerism, supplier diversity, stakeholder engagement and environmental affairs, focuses on strengthening customer relationships and improving economic prosperity and quality of life for everyone in the communities Wells Fargo serves. 

A 33-year veteran of the company, Campbell was previously regional president of the Great Lakes, overseeing Wells Fargo’s retail and business banking operations in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. He also held management positions in mergers and acquisitions, credit, and community banking.

He currently serves as chairman of the board of Fairview Health Services, vice president of the Minnesota Orchestral Association, and chair-elect of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the boards of the Greater Twin Cities United Way, Minnesota Business Partnership, University of Minnesota Foundation, the University of Minnesota Carlson School Board of Overseers, the National Urban League Board of Trustees, and United Way US National Board of Trustees.

A Minnesota native, he graduated from the University of Minnesota where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration.
