Chris Keightley
Vice President, Information Technology
Chris Keightley leads United Way Worldwide’s information technology and infrastructure, directing the development and execution of IT strategies for the organization. Most recently, he led the design and build of the Mary M. Gates Learning Center which launched in 2010. The Mary M. Gates Learning Center features best-in-class video teleconferencing technology and webinar capabilities which facilitate learning across United Way’s global network in 41 countries.
Prior to United Way, Keightley worked at Freddie Mac where he directed both Finance and IT functions. He managed Strategic Re-Engineering staff that was responsible for systems-related projects and business process redesigns within the Capital Markets Division. He co-managed the development and implementation of Freddie Mac’s Reference Notes® securities program’s auctions which have been considered the backbone of Freddie Mac’s term debt suite of products. Keightley also headed the implementation of reporting and performance management tools to manage loan servicer performance on over $800 billion in mortgages.
Keightley is a member of Microsoft's Not for Profit (NFP) Customer Advisory Board and is an active community investor. Keightley received his bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and currently resides in Arlington, Virginia.
