Volunteer Partnership: National Youth Leadership Council
The National Youth Leadership Council strives for a world where all young people are valued and called on to lead. With passion, creativity, and ingenuity, young people can address world issues while strengthening academic and learning outcomes through service-learning. To that end, NYLC provides programs and services that develop young leaders, support educators, and advance the field of service-learning.
United Way is serving as co-host for the National Youth Leadership Council’s 26th Annual Service-Learning Conference, More Powerful Together, from April 8-11, 2015 in Washington, D.C. The conference will bring together youth and adults from across the country and around the world for three and a half days of learning, inspiration, and connection to empower them to drive impact on community issues through service. More Powerful Together is an extension of the classroom, allowing youth and adults to come together to be part of something bigger.
