In2Books is an evidence-based, curriculum-aligned eMentoring program that fosters reading, writing and critical-thinking skills for 3rd to 5th grade students. In2Books matches students with adult pen pals who read the same books and correspond online about the important issues in the books. The In2Books program has been shown to significantly improve students' literacy skills and love of learning.

National Baptist Convention USA Prison Ministry and Criminal Justice Commission
The National Baptist Convention Prison Ministry and Criminal Justice Commission exists in order to bring persons into meaningful and right relationship with God by belief and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ through preaching, teaching and healing. It is also to work collaboratively with NBC faith-based organizations and develop partnerships with other faith based, criminal justice, business and community organizations to engage in crime prevention, victim assistance, criminal justice, and prison ministry programs for the African-American Community in particular and others in general.

National CARES Mentoring Movement

National CARES Mentoring Movement is devoted to closing the huge gap between the relatively few Black adult mentors and the millions of vulnerable Black children on mentoring organizations' waiting lists throughout the nation. It is imperative that we raise awareness of the critical need for mentors and role models among Black adults.
National Center for Family Literacy

Over the past 20 years, more than 1 million families have benefited from economic and educational gains thanks to the work of the National Center for Family Literacy. NCFL was established in 1989 by Sharon Darling, who continues as president.
With the help of more than 150,000 teachers and thousands of other volunteers, NCFL is better able to respond to the changing needs and demographics of underserved populations. And not just on a community level. Literacy initiatives and programs have been seeing results on the local, state and national levels that benefit from the efforts of NCFL.
National Collaboration for Youth
