Companies use Back to Football Friday to raise awareness for youth health

Employees from Constellation Energy, Eli Lilly and Company, Medtronic Inc., and Nationwide Insurance participated in Back to Football Friday. The National Football League (NFL), in partnership with United Way, launched this national campaign to engage fans with the kickoff of the 2010 football season and promote United Way's efforts around youth health and wellness.

Thousands participated in more than 500 Back to Football Friday events held across the country on September 10. For example, Constellation Energy hosted an action-packed day of fun and fitness activities in the Baltimore area by partnering with United Way, Y of Central Maryland, Baltimore City Police and eighth graders from KIPP Baltimore School.
