Discussions: What are your aspirations for the kids in your community?
The Campaign for the Common Good begins with discussion. By collectively listening, sharing, and responding to the thoughts and opinions of the greater United Way community, we can work together to plan each step along the path to progress.
So we’ll start at the beginning: What are your aspirations for the children in your community?
You might start by thinking about your own children, or the children in your family, but it’s important to take a step back and think about the kids in your community as a whole: What do you want their futures to look like? Does it involve stable employment? Safe schools? Maybe your aspirations for them are less tangible, like a greater faith in their government or a shared sense of responsibility for the wellbeing of the planet.
