White House Appoints United Way Worldwide CEO to Advisory Council

United Way Worldwide President & CEO Brian Gallagher has been appointed by President Obama to the White House Faith Advisory Council. In addition to Mr. Gallagher, the 12 new appointments represent a diverse mix, from the head of the country’s largest evangelical group, to the leader of the nation’s largest Christian LGBT denomination. Other appointees represent non-profits Policy Link and the Triangle Community Foundation (NC), as well as religious groups such as the Rabbinical Assembly, the Episcopal Church and the Greek Orthodox Church of America.
