Volunteers Pay Tribute on September 11th

Volunteers Pay Tribute on September 11th

This weekend, as the world takes pause to reflect, remember and honor those who served and lost their lives one decade ago, volunteers pledge service in tribute.

So many of the memories from that day are painful. But in the aftermath, hope rose from the ashes in lower Manhattan, from the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and from a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, as people ran toward danger to help one another.

In this spirit, pledging service is a fitting tribute to honor our memories of the fallen and the legacy of the firefighters, first responders and everyday people who LIVED UNITED on that fateful Tuesday.
