Share the Love – Through Volunteering

This week is Random Acts of Kindness Week with Valentine’s Day on the 14th.  It’s a time to “share the love” and to step up our random acts of kindness.   I am all for candy, flowers, notes and cards, but I really love how United Way finds other ways to bring joy into people’s lives now and throughout the year.

United Way and Airbus Corporate Foundation Expand Partnership to Madrid main image

United Way recently launched its first program in Madrid, Spain in collaboration with the Airbus Corporate Foundation. Working in the predominately industrial area of Getafe to the south of Madrid, the Airbus Flying Challenge program is engaging with 109 middle school students to help them take control of their lives and their future while reinforcing the importance of completing their high school education.
