Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
The National Association of Letter Carriers will lead the nation's largest food drive to combat hunger on Saturday, May 14, 2011. On that day, letter carriers will collect non-perishable donations from homes as they deliver mail along their postal routes.

GM Assists with Tornado Recovery in the South
Earlier this week, GM donated 12 Chevrolet Silverado pickups and a GMC Savana van to United Ways in western and central Alabama to help with recovery and reconstruction work following last week’s deadly tornadoes. GM is also encouraging employees to personally support these efforts through donations and volunteerism. The total Chevrolet, GM Foundation, and OnStar contribution is estimated to exceed $500,000. Vote on PSAs created by Dallas Destination: Graduation participants
AT&T and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas (UWMD) gave high school teens a chance to create PSAs on the importance of giving to United Way. The teens were selected from the schools participating in the UWMD Destination: Graduation program. Each of the 8 United Way Video Challenge PSAs will be featured online over the next two weeks to view and vote on. More
