Caregiving for Older Adults


The Family Caregiver Alliance reports an estimated 44 million Americans age 18 and older provide unpaid assistance to older people and adults with disabilities. Many of them are not prepared or given appropriate support and suffer from poor health themselves. For these reasons and many others, United Ways across the country are working with and on behalf of caregivers to ensure they have the resources and supports they need to take care of themselves as well as their loved ones.
