Kent Oyler is a former CFO turned serial entrepreneur, having so far started 18 distinct business ventures, including two INC 500 winners. Oyler founded and serves as CEO of financial services provider OPM Services, Inc. In the late ‘90s Oyler co-founded and took public broadband internet access supplier High Speed Access Corp. and co-founded DSL provider Darwin Networks. Other businesses have been in railroads, steel fabrication, market research, franchised business services, packaging, manufacturing, and equipment leasing.
He currently serves on over a dozen civic boards and committees including United Way Worldwide Leadership Council and is a member of the Tocqueville Society’s Million Dollar Roundtable. He chaired the Louisville Tocqueville Growth Initiative, led the early national expansion of Project Safe Place and started Success by 6 in Kentucky. Kent has been honored as an E&Y Master Entrepreneur of the Year and received Presidential Point of Light and Service recognitions. Kent enjoys running, skiing, travel, and occasionally pretending to be a gentleman farmer. He and his wife, Kathy, have three almost grown children.
