Alina began her financial services career in 1998, after twenty-five years in materials management for a large pharmaceutical company, and joined Merrill Lynch in 2007. A strong believer in giving back to the community, Alina has a particular concern for disadvantaged women. She is the Chairperson for the United Way Leadership Giving Circle and won the Joseph H. Lee award for her volunteer efforts in 2011. She was recently nominated to the United Way National Women's Leadership Council and previously sat on the board of directors for the Somerset County Business Partnership and founded the group’s Women in Business special interest group. Alina is past President of the Northern New Jersey Merrill Lynch Women’s Exchange. In 2006 she was honored by the Patriot’s Path Council for her leadership. Alina graduated from Marymount College, with a BS in Business Administration. She resides in Bridgewater with her husband—and their dog. The Klein’s favorite leisure time activities include working around the yard, biking, entertaining on their deck and extensive traveling.
